Update on new Children's Specialty Center - Detroit The 106,550 square foot Children's Hospital of Michigan Specialty Center - Detroit is on track for completion in 2012. The red brick and glass exterior will be finished this month. Also, concrete will be poured for all outside ground surfaces. Interior finishes will follow and be the focus of construction for several months with targeted completion by late spring. Meanwhile, plans are progressing for eventual construction of the new Children's Hospital of Michigan Tower. Click here for more information...
