Diabetes Management and Heart Disease
Join us on Tuesday, December 4th to learn about the risk factors and the simple ways you can manage them during the Holiday Season. This informative and interactive program is presented by the New London Diabetes Education Program and will be held at the Lake Sunapee Bank Community Room, at 116 Newport Road, New London, NH 03257 from 5:30 – 7:00PM. A soup and salad dinner will be provided and there will be exciting give-aways and door prizes. The event will be hosted by Lauri Smerald, CDE, Richard Osborne, MD, and Sarah Anderson, RD, LD Outpatient Dietitian. Space is limited. Please RSVP to 526-5526 by Nov. 30.

NLH Welcomes Richard Osborne, MD
New London Hospital (NLH) is pleased to announce that Richard Osborne, MD has joined its Internal Medicine Practice. Prior to joining NLH, Osborne was a partner and staff cardiologist at Southern California Permanente Medical Group at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Osborne earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and a fellowship in cardiology at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. He also served as the chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and the head of Cardiology Division at the Naval Hospital. Dr. Osborne is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases and is seeing patients at New London Hospital. He may be reached at 603-526-5275.
