3D Mammography Open House at New London Hospital

According to the American Cancer Society, there are currently more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. The mortality rate from breast cancer has dropped by about 30 percent over the past three decades. Early detection and screening have played a large role in this decrease.

On Wednesday, October 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, New London Hospital is holding a 3D Mammography Open House. This is a free event at which community members can see the 3D Mammography system and speak with the NLH Radiology team about the new technology. There will be light refreshments and door prizes in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For more information contact NLH at 603.526.5373 or development@
