February is American Heart Month, and
February 1, 2008, was National Wear Red Day. Both are sponsored
by the American Heart Association to help raise awareness of heart
disease, the number one killer of women (and men). This February,
wear red to encourage women to take steps to prevent heart
disease; see NAMS educational materials to learn how to reduce your own
