Give the Gift of Life at a Lourdes Blood Drive
Although 60 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood, only 5 percent does so, according to the American Red Cross. That 5 percent must meet 100 percent of the need for blood in our country. During the summer months, fewer donors tend to give, so donations are especially needed. You can give the gift of life by donating blood on Friday, August 8 from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at LourdesCare at Cherry Hill, 1 Brace Road. All donors will receive a coupon for a free ice coffee or donut at Dunkin' Donuts.
