Strong Hearts
Interested in hearing a lecture by an internationally known best-selling author about women and heart health? On Tuesday, May 10, Lourdes Health System, in conjunction with Friends' Health Connection, will host a presentation by Miriam Nelson, Ph.D, of Tufts University, as she discusses her new book, "Strong Women, Strong Hearts". The event will be held at the Holiday Inn on Route 70 East in Cherry Hill, beginning at 6:00pm with a mini-health fair, followed by the lecture at 7:00pm. Have Your Feet Screened!
Do you have pain, or swelling in one or both of your feet? Redness? Numbness? Ulcers on the bottom of the feet? If you have one or more of these symptoms, there may be an underlying cause. On Thursday, May 5, podiatrist Dr S. Jacob will host a foot screening at the Wound Care Center at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County from 9:00am to 11:30am.
