Strong Hearts
Interested in attending a lecture by an internationally known best-selling author about women and heart health? On Tuesday, May 10, Lourdes Health System, in conjunction with Friends' Health Connection, will host a presentation by Miriam Nelson, Ph.D, of Tufts University, as she discusses her new book, "Strong Women, Strong Hearts". The event will be held at the Holiday Inn on Route 70 East in Cherry Hill, beginning at 6:00pm with a mini-health fair, followed by the lecture at 7:00pm. Natural First Aid In Oils & Plants
On Wednesday May 11 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, the Lourdes Wellness Center in Collingswood will present a class on natural first aid with essential oils and garden plants. Learn how to use plants from your garden and essential oils to prepare skin washes, bug sprays, teas or infusions, compresses and salves. Discover how to use dandelion, chickweed, marigolds, and lemon balm and the essential oils of peppermint, lavender, tea tree, chamomile, eucalyptus, lemon and grapefruit to heal cuts, burns and rashes.
